Responsibilities
- Operate clamp equipment to transport products safely and efficiently.
- Off-load and load trailers/railcars with correct product according to customer requirements.
- Ensure proper storage of products and accurately complete inventory transactions.
- Sort, pack, wrap, strap, and label products as per customer requirements and company procedures.
- Maintain a clean work area and equipment, following safety procedures.
- Report equipment breakdowns and recommend repairs; perform daily inspections.
- Follow production schedules and record material movement information.
- Execute customer order filling process efficiently and monitor inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to RDC KPIs: Safety, Units shipped, on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and scrap.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in forklift operation and distribution warehouse activities.
- Clamp operation experience is required.
- Complete knowledge of warehousing, shipping, and inventory control policies and procedures.
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to team lift packages greater than 35 lbs but less than 71 lbs.
- Ability to handle repetitive twisting, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, and bending.
- Ability to spend long periods of time on feet.
- Understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
