Responsibilities
- Identify new suppliers in conjunction with applicable teams.
- Qualify new suppliers in accordance with Sourcing and Supplier Quality procedures.
- Assist in supplier agreement negotiations while periodically reviewing pricing, terms, and conditions.
- Recommend frame agreements where applicable and execute upon approval.
- Analyze and evaluate bids to determine optimal value.
- Initiate and issue Purchase Orders (PO) in alignment with Procurement policies.
- Conduct receipts after confirming delivery with internal teams.
- Assist suppliers with questions related to PO or invoicing.
- Monitor and track supplier delivery performance.
- Assist in issue resolution as applicable.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 5+ years of purchasing or related experience.
- 3+ years of SAP experience and knowledge of purchasing related T-codes.
- Strong knowledge of purchasing methods and techniques.
- Experience in negotiating/managing supplier contracts and agreements.
