Responsibilities
- Monitor profitability across product lines, focusing on product cost control, data accuracy, and gross profit performance.
- Maintain and monitor standard costing system and prepare product cost bridges.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
- Analyze financial results and variances to provide actionable insights.
- Support scenario modeling and business case development.
- Supervise accounting functions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger maintenance, and asset reporting.
- Prepare financial statements and monthly reporting.
- Collaborate with department heads to monitor performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Drive implementation of corrective action plans.
- Provide financial guidance for strategic initiatives, investments, and cost optimization.
- Ensure accurate reporting, KPI monitoring, and forecasting.
- Drive process automation and financial efficiency.
- Maintain compliance, internal controls, and audit readiness.
- Manage company legal and administrative responsibilities.
- Participate in cross-functional projects like ERP implementations and M&A activities.
- Adopt a mentoring and coaching attitude to develop the competence of managers.
Requirements
- Previous experience in business control, preferably in a Product Company in Atlas Copco.
- Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting techniques.
- Proficiency with financial statement analysis and projection.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
- Proficiency in financial software and databases.
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently and in teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience in handling and understanding of rotating machinery.
- Strong interpersonal communication and leadership skills.
- Experience working with ERP system SAP S4Hana /BPCS.
- Advanced competence of MS-Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Good understanding of 'The Way we do things' with extra attention for 'Business Code of Practice' and 'Supplier Risk Evaluation'.
- More than 10 years of work experience.
- More than 3 years of experience in a managerial position.
Desired Qualifications
- University / master’s degrees in business administration, Accounting, Finance or similar
- CA/ICW/MBA is a plus
