We are seeking an Assembly Operator 2 with at least 2-3 years of experience in the machinery and electrical industry. The role involves product assembly according to production orders, strict adherence to SOPs, and basic equipment maintenance. This is a full-time, on-site position in Qingdao, China.
Responsibilities
- Carry out company policy and regulations.
- Master technology operations for product assembly.
- Perform product assembly as per production orders and worksheets.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions (WI).
- Support supervisors, engineers, and quality personnel to resolve assembly or quality issues.
- Maintain equipment and perform basic preventative maintenance.
- Undertake Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) on machine tools.
- Keep work area clean and orderly, implement 5S activity.
- Actively provide reasonable proposals for continuous improvement and report safety hazards.
- Utilize company and workshop software and digital systems.
- Comply with multi-skilled position requirements.
- Perform other assigned tasks.
Requirements
- Graduated from a normal vocational school or above, with a machinery major.
- At least 2-3 years of assembly experience in the machinery & electrical industry.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Understand and read manufacturing process procedures.
- Ability to use and change tooling as required.
- Understand and be skilled in using common gauge and measuring tools.
- Good communication and learning ability.
- Honest, willing to work, and obey leader's arrangements.
- Willing to work shifts.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience as a machinist/electrician.
- Familiarity with TPM and 5S activities.
- Experience with company and workshop software and digital systems.
