Responsibilities
- Receive daily work assignments and execute production using Standard Operating Procedures and blueprints.
- Assemble subcomponents and finished products, and process materials.
- Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items manually or using lifts.
- Perform process setups and value-add activities, following documentation.
- Execute quality checks and inspections.
- Report deviations (Safety, Quality, Parts, Equipment) immediately and update the Team Leader/Manager.
- Participate in Daily Status Board Meetings, explaining deviations and proposing solutions.
- Review and suggest improvements for Standard Operating Procedures.
- Identify and drive waste elimination opportunities (time, motion, transportation, inventories) and Kaizen improvements.
- Engage in daily & weekly 5S routines.
- Seek cross-training opportunities within different manufacturing processes and support various factory demands.
- Utilize downtime for learning new processes and implementing improvements.
- Ensure accurate and consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Ability to use and care for basic production or assembly hand tools.
- Ability to read drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing orders.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Ability to read and interpret Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.

- Crane and forklift certifications are preferred.
