This onsite AV Support Engineer role, based in London and the South-East, requires strong stakeholder skills and technical expertise in AV systems. Responsibilities include device management, testing, maintenance, and user support for AV and video conferencing solutions.

Responsibilities

Manage AV devices, including configuration and installation of solutions from Poly, Crestron, AMX, Cisco, Yealink, Logitech, and Microsoft Teams.
Perform routine testing and problem diagnosis for projectors, microphones, speakers, amplifiers, and LCD/Plasma Displays.
Coordinate with AV equipment OEMs for issue resolution or workarounds.
Assist with company meetings and functions requiring AV infrastructure (audio, video conferencing, webcasting, visual display, projection, and control systems).
Manage ticket queues to respond to user requests.
Setup and breakdown of onsite meetings.
Perform daily system testing to ensure equipment and room functionality.
Perform remote testing for local and regional offices.
Provide videoconferencing support, including operation and call setup.
Establish and test individual and group VC sessions, providing consultation on connection types.
Perform approved Install, Moves, Adds, Changes, Deletes (IMACD) Services and Break-fix repairs for Hardware (Windows/MAC).
Deploy, manage and refresh in-scope Hardware as agreed with client only at dedicated sites.
Facilitate end-users to initiate the Autopilot process for desktop Imaging for new/leaver laptops.
Coordinate with client Hardware asset management and follow defined/agreed processes to maintain compliance.
Provide on-site/Field Services of all specified equipment when the device is physically located at Client’s locations.
Uplift and reimage leaver equipment and coordinate with the asset management team.
Deployment and configuration of new hire equipment.
Provide conferencing and meeting room equipment basic configuration support.
Perform inventory management for monitors and peripherals at dedicated sites.
Provide mobile hands & eyes support including MDM profile configuration based on Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents provided by client.
Provide printer hands and eye support including toner replacement, physical and connection to network/cabling inspection.
Provide infrastructure onsite support (hands and eyes) for servers, network devices, and cabling checks.
Coordinate with vendors/OEMs and escort them to server rooms or data rooms.

Requirements

3+ years of AV support experience in a corporate environment.
High level of experience with Microsoft Teams and O365 integration.
Effective communication with peers, customers, and colleagues across the business.
Ability to work autonomously and think independently.
Good knowledge of Windows based devices.
Ability to balance multiple tasks and meet deadlines with changing priorities.
Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
Demonstrated customer service focus and client communication skills.
Ability to work from different office locations in London and the South-East when required.
White glove support for VIP meetings and events.

Desired Qualifications

CCNA Video, CCNA Routing & switching is desirable.
Certification from respected vendors, Poly, Crestron (CTS), AMX, Cisco, Microsoft is desirable.
