Qualcomm is seeking a WRD (RTL) Design Engineer in Bangalore, India, to contribute to the development of Wi-Fi chips. This role involves the full design lifecycle from spec understanding to RTL coding and validation, with a focus on signal processing implementations for upcoming Wi-Fi standards.

Ansvarsområden

  • Design, micro-architecture design, RTL coding and development for linting and CDC rules.
  • Collaborate with project lead on IP micro-architecture.
  • Work with the functional verification team on test-plan development and debug.
  • Develop timing constraints for RTL synthesis if needed.

Krav

  • MTech/BTech in Electronics & Communication Engineering with 8-15 years in design, micro-architecture & RTL coding.
  • Proficient in Verilog, System-Verilog programming languages.
  • Good experience in any scripting languages (Perl, Tcl, etc..).
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience. OR PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience with HLS will be a plus.
  • Solid experience with RTL QA flows like PLDRC, CDC, CLP (optional).
  • Good to have the working experience either of Implementation or STA flows.
  • Knowledge of signal processing concepts/algorithms and Wi-Fi standards (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax) is good to have.
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience with circuit design (e.g., digital, analog, RF).
  • 2+ years of experience utilizing schematic capture and circuit simulation software.
  • 2+ years of experience with hardware design and measurement instruments such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, RF tools, etc.
  • 1+ year in a technical leadership role with or without direct reports.
