Vattenfall's BA Markets team is seeking a Working Student to support their Compliance & Operational Risk Management function, focusing on ESG regulation and responsible sourcing. The role involves research, analysis, and support for climate and sustainability initiatives within the energy and commodity trading sector.

Ansvarsområden

  • Support sustainability, climate and responsible sourcing activities across BA Markets.
  • Conduct research and analyze sustainability, climate, and other ESG-related regulatory developments relevant to energy markets and commodity trading.
  • Support climate-related initiatives, including climate risk assessments.
  • Assist in sustainability due diligence, responsible sourcing assessments, monitoring sustainability-related risks, and engagement with industry initiatives and external stakeholders.
  • Collect, review, and maintain ESG-related data, records, and documentation for reporting, assurance, and continuous improvement.
  • Assist in the preparation of sustainability reports, presentations, management materials, and internal communications.

Krav

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sustainability or Environmental Science.
  • Strong interest in sustainability, climate, and responsible business practices.
  • Ability to work independently with a high level of integrity and handle sensitive data with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience or coursework related to sustainability, climate, supply chains, sustainability reporting, or due diligence is considered an advantage, but not required.
  • Curious, structured, motivated to learn, think outside the box, and eager to 'run an extra mile'.
