Amazon Corporate Network Engineering is hiring a Wireless Network Development Engineer to design, build, and automate innovative solutions for next-generation IP networks. This role focuses on delivering simple, sustainable, and repeatable solutions for Amazon's global office network infrastructure, emphasizing stability, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.

Ansvarsområden

  • Perform high quality network and/or systems operations, deployments, scaling, technology refresh, sustaining engineering, best practices application, optimization, and internal/external customer interactions.
  • Design and build innovative, multi-vendor data connectivity solutions to support Amazon’s growth worldwide.
  • Drive scaling of current network designs to meet customer demand.
  • Work with vendors and cross-functional teams for ongoing design efforts and systems support.
  • Work closely with internal customers to alleviate problems and ensure network demands are met.
  • Drive operational excellence projects to improve network quality and reliability.
  • Automate the deployment of network devices gateways using infrastructure as code (e.g., CDK, Python) across all network fabrics.
  • Automate the deployment of network infrastructure across all network fabrics supporting AWS services.
  • Create and review documentation and processes regarding network implementation/deployments, recurring issues, new standard operating procedures, and knowledge transfer material.
  • Lead design, network/code, and security reviews across teams to identify risks and prevent bugs prior to production release.

Krav

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of RF /Survey, RF Planning and Optimization experience.
  • 2+ years of major internet routing and switching protocols experience.
  • Experience on Enterprise wireless architecture, WPA3, Radius, 802.1X, EAP.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • 2+ years of working in a Linux/Unix environment experience.
  • 2+ years of automation scripting using Python, Bash, Shell and/or Perl experience.
  • Experience working with networks, IT infrastructure, or system integration.
