Emerson seeks a Winter Audit Intern in St. Louis, MO, for a hybrid role. The intern will perform financial audits and SOX control reviews, gaining experience under an Audit Senior. Ansvarsområden

  • Perform audits using a risk-based, process-focused approach encompassing business strategy analysis.
  • Report on control deficiencies to management and make recommendations to mitigate risk and add value.
  • Challenge current processes across the company and identify opportunities for refinement.
  • Communicate with a variety of stakeholders across the company.
  • Position consists of approximately 15-25% travel within the United States and potentially international travel.

Krav

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business-related field.
  • Upon graduation, bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, Finance or Business-related field required.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role.
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hour/week) during the summer term.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Upon graduation, CPA (or CIA) or eligibility to sit for the exam
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Power Bi
