Partner with a fulfillment center operations team to execute company safety policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean principles. Analyze safety metrics, conduct audits, and mentor Safety Associates to foster a safe and healthy work environment.

Ansvarsområden

  • Partner with a site operations team in a Fulfillment Center to execute company safety policies and ensure compliance to all applicable local and regional regulations.
  • Leverage lean principles and kaizens to lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce conditional and ergonomic risk.
  • Build trust and confidence with the Operations Team and influence change through providing comprehensive risk assessments and safety data analysis.
  • Instruct and train Operations Leaders in company safety policies and assist operations site teams in incorporating safety standards.
  • Identify best practices and incorporate them into company safety policies.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to ensure compliance with Amazon Safety Policies.
  • Measure site performance against published safety policy requirements and develop plans to address deficiencies.
  • Deliver on-time and quality projects to Operations.
  • Analyze safety metrics and review incident trends to justify resource allocation to high-risk areas.
  • Perform frequent site safety audits to identify non-compliance and implement solutions to prevent future risks.
  • Audit record keeping practices and Global Safety Database entries for compliance.
  • Audit workplace organization and Associate behaviors to ensure accuracy and consistency in training, auditing, and scoring methods.
  • Manage and mentor Safety Associates in assigned FCs.
  • Seek input from Safety teams, Associates, and leaders on safety program improvement opportunities and ensure open communication on progress.

Krav

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in an environmental Health & Safety (EHS) related field
  • Experience in distribution or manufacturing field
  • 2+ years of increasing responsibilities in EHS or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations experience.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Bachelor's degree in Health and Safety or a related field
  • Master's degree in Health and Safety or a related field
