Site WHS Officer needed to partner with operations in a Sort Center to enforce safety policies and local regulations. This role focuses on reducing risk through continuous improvement, risk assessments, and data analysis, while also training operations leaders and identifying best practices. A Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of EHS experience are required.
Ansvarsområden
- Partner with site operations teams to execute company safety policies.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable local and regional regulations.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using lean principles and kaizens to reduce conditional and ergonomic risk.
- Build trust and confidence with the Operations Team.
- Influence change through comprehensive risk assessments and safety data analysis.
- Instruct and train Operations Leaders in company safety policies.
- Assist operations site teams in incorporating safety standards.
- Identify and incorporate best practices into company safety policies.
- Demonstrate expertise in safety program, safety, environmental, and ergonomic knowledge.
Krav
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in safety, environmental, or equivalent, OR 3+ years of distribution or manufacturing field experience.
- 2+ years of increasing responsibilities in EHS or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations experience.
Önskade kvalifikationer
- Fulfillment Center or Manufacturing Safety experience.
- Experience with a mix of exempt and non-exempt employees at the site.
