Ansvarsområden
- Partner with a site operations team in a Fulfillment Center to execute company safety policies and ensure compliance to all applicable local and regional regulations.
- Leverage lean principles and kaizens to lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce conditional and ergonomic risk in processes.
- Ensure a safe and healthful working environment for Associates.
- Build trust and confidence with the Operations Team and influence change through comprehensive risk assessments and safety data analysis.
- Be an effective communicator, sending clear, concise, and consistent messages, both verbally and in writing.
- Instruct and train Operations Leaders in company safety policies.
- Assist the operations site teams in incorporating safety standards at their site.
- Identify best practices and incorporate them into company safety policies for continuous improvement.
- Possess excellent safety program and relevant safety, environmental, and ergonomic knowledge and demonstrate expertise when working with Operations.
Krav
- Bachelor's degree in Health and Safety or a related field.
- Experience with increasing responsibilities in safety and/or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations.
Önskade kvalifikationer
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience in a fast paced, changing/growing organization.
- Government Certified Safety Professional preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem solving ability.
- Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy.
