The Site WHS Officer partners with operations teams to execute safety policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and reduce risks using lean principles. Responsibilities include risk assessments, safety data analysis, and training leaders on safety standards and best practices.

Ansvarsområden

  • Partner with a site operations team to execute company safety policies.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable local and regional regulations.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using lean principles and kaizens to reduce conditional and ergonomic risk.
  • Build trust and confidence with the Operations Team and influence change through comprehensive risk assessments and safety data analysis.
  • Instruct and train Operations Leaders in company safety policies.
  • Assist operations site teams in incorporating safety standards.
  • Identify best practices and incorporate them into company safety policies.
  • Support assigned site(s) and coordinate the implementation of Amazon WHS procedures and programs.
  • Partner with site stakeholders to drive compliance with Amazon WHS standards, procedures, and local laws.
  • Coach associates on new and existing WHS requirements.
  • Partner with site operations and WHS leadership on day-to-day risks.
  • Identify and escalate compliance risks and improvement opportunities through routine inspections and audits.

Krav

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in safety, environmental, or equivalent, or 3+ years of distribution or manufacturing field experience.
  • 2+ years of increasing responsibilities in EHS or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations experience.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience with professional documentation using the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
