The Site WHS Officer in Pune, Maharashtra, is responsible for implementing company safety policies and ensuring regulatory compliance within a Delivery Station. This role involves leading continuous improvement initiatives, conducting risk assessments, and training operations teams on safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience in work health and safety programs.

Ansvarsområden

  • Partner with site operations teams to execute company safety policies and ensure compliance with local and regional regulations.
  • Leverage lean principles and kaizens to reduce conditional and ergonomic risk and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and safety data analysis to influence change.
  • Instruct and train Operations Leaders in company safety policies.
  • Assist site teams in incorporating safety standards.
  • Identify best practices and incorporate them into company safety policies.
  • Coordinate and assist in the implementation of Amazon WHS procedures and programs.
  • Coach associates on new and existing WHS requirements.
  • Partner with site operations and WHS leadership on day-to-day risks.
  • Identify and escalate compliance risks and improvement opportunities through inspections and audits.

Krav

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of experience with increasing responsibilities in Work health and safety or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations.

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
