Ansvarsområden
- Lay out, fit, tack, and weld steel components and assemblies per blueprint specifications.
- Operate MIG/TIG welders, stick welding equipment, grinders, plasma cutters, and drill presses.
- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and complete preventive checklists.
- Plan layouts and welding sequences for structural integrity and safety.
- Inspect and correct welds to meet quality standards, using measuring instruments to verify dimensions.
- Support material handling, loading/unloading, and workstation supply.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Crosstrain across departments to expand skillset.
- Prioritize and promote safety in accordance with company policies.
Krav
- High School diploma or GED (preferred).
- Minimum 1 year of experience using MIG or TIG welding.
- Manufacturing experience required; industry background preferred.
- Proficient in MIG welding and oxyacetylene torch use.
- Skilled in basic math and tape measure reading.
- Experienced with hand tools, drill/saw machinery, and overhead crane operation.
- Must pass Pulmonary Function Test (PFT), if PAPR is required.
- Ability to use and operate hand tools, pneumatic tools, and electric tools.

- Forklift certification preferred.
- Familiar with welding carbon and aluminum steel.
- Ability to use and operate hand tools, pneumatic tools, and electric.
