Sandvik Mining is seeking a Warehouse Technician to support warehouse operations at mine sites in BC. The role involves receiving, storing, tracking, and shipping materials, ensuring inventory accuracy, and maintaining warehouse efficiency. This position requires at least one year of warehouse or inventory experience and forklift operation skills.

Ansvarsområden

Receive, inspect and audit incoming materials to ensure inventory records are accurate.
Coordinate the safe storage and timely shipment of materials.
Prepare shipping and receiving schedules.
Help maintain effective operating procedures, space utilization, facilities and equipment.
Process sales orders and invoices accurately.
Update and maintain the warehouse location and computerized inventory systems.
Support customer on-call services as required.
Comply with safety policies and regulations.
Identify and report unsafe work habits, incidents, and near misses.
Perform risk assessments before each task.
Maintain an orderly work area and ensure housekeeping requirements are met.
Attend Environmental, Health and Safety related training.
Wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Krav

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of one (1) year of warehouse or inventory experience.
Experience operating a forklift is required.
Experience using computerized inventory management systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of an integrated team.
Detail-oriented with good time management and organizational skills.
Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
Valid driver's licence in good standing.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Previous experience in mining operations is an asset but is not required.
