ASSA ABLOY is seeking a proactive Warehouse Supervisor for their Mesquite, Texas facility. This on-site role involves coordinating daily warehouse functions, managing shipping and receiving personnel, ensuring inventory accuracy, and maintaining a safe work environment. The ideal candidate has previous leadership experience in a warehouse setting and strong communication skills.

Ansvarsområden

  • Coordinate daily functions of concentrated warehouse areas.
  • Act as liaison between Front End, Shipping Coordinator, and Operations Supervisor.
  • Chase orders to ensure timely completion for delivery.
  • Supervise shipping and receiving personnel and assist with Mesquite Fleet.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager on daily decision making.
  • Assist in setting and obtaining strategic goals and objectives for the department.
  • Manage orders for picking and loading.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy by executing the periodic cycle count process.
  • Oversee the storage and distribution of all items received from suppliers.
  • Facilitate smooth shift transitions and act as a liaison between both shifts.
  • Coordinate orders to meet loading and delivery schedules.
  • Work closely with the finance team on executing the year-end physical inventory.
  • Maintain and perform preventative maintenance on forklifts.
  • Manage rack space and ensure rack safety through regular inspections.
  • Coordinate daily with Customer Service Representatives.
  • Provide direction and training to team members.
  • Maintain a safe and harmonious working environment, adhering to OSHA and ASSA ABLOY standards.
  • Assure compliance with federal, state, local, and corporate policies and regulations.

Krav

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Previous leadership experience in a warehouse setting.
  • Proficient in reading and writing legibly.
  • Ability to analyze orders effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to direct and interact with employees.
  • Solid understanding of mathematics for inventory management.
  • Capable of working independently and taking initiative.
  • Physically capable of standing and walking throughout shifts.
  • Demonstrates strong leadership skills.
  • Thrives in a team-oriented environment focused on achieving collective goals.
  • Leadership ability, excellent people skills, and the ability to develop relationships and influence all levels within the organization.
