The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee a team of employees, ensuring efficient loading and unloading of products, managing inventory, and coordinating with production for timely deliveries. Ansvarsområden

  • Train shift employees.
  • Oversee daily workflow, schedules, and assignments of the shipping department.
  • Oversee and evaluate all activities of the department's employees, ensuring safe and efficient loading and unloading of freight.
  • Conduct daily inspections, ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, local, and internal laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Manage inventory of raw material and finished inventory.
  • Allocate material to work orders.
  • Monitor freight movement using various computer software applications.
  • Consult with the production planning team to plan deliveries.
  • Draft and distribute schedules; use outside trucks and drivers when needed.
  • Teach and implement safe lifting and loading techniques and evaluate employee compliance.
  • Assess efficiency and performance of dispatch and distribution activities; identify and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure product handling and delivery practices meet customer expectations and business objectives.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Krav

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
  • 1+ years Shipping and Receiving experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic understanding of truck freight rates.
  • Strong understanding of applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration requirements and other related safety policies and best practices.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to monitor and maintain records and inventory.
