IKEA Nottingham seeks a Warehouse Sales Assistant to join the Fulfilment team, focusing on customer experience, stock availability, and efficient order preparation. This on-site role offers an hourly rate of £13.45 for 12 hours per week, with a start date of October 11th, 2026.

Ansvarsområden

  • Maintain customer experience by ensuring product availability and preparing high-volume orders.
  • Ensure a safe and organized warehouse environment.
  • Deliver items to customers smoothly and efficiently.
  • Use computers and handheld devices for stock checking and answering customer questions.
  • Proactively identify and complete tasks efficiently.
  • Adapt to changing tasks and work within tight timeframes.
  • Achieve set goals with guidance from management.
  • Pick and prepare large volumes of orders for online and in-store collection or delivery.
  • Meet customers for item collection and serve them at the warehouse sales desk.
  • Utilize internal systems to ensure accurate and full stock availability.
  • Adhere to all IKEA health, safety, and security rules.
  • Contribute to optimized daily fulfillment operations.
  • Perform manual handling tasks, moving goods up to 59kg with pump trucks.
  • Work with heavy machinery like forklifts and counterbalance trucks.

Krav

  • Must be 18 years of age or older due to health & safety.
  • Comfortable using computers and handheld devices.
  • Ability to proactively look for tasks and use initiative.
  • Adaptable mindset for switching between tasks and working under tight timeframes.
  • Ability to work with guidance to achieve set goals within agreed timeframes.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience with forklift trucks, counterbalance, and pump trucks is beneficial for transporting heavy goods.
