Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions is seeking a Warehouse Operator in Kitwe, Zambia to manage warehouse operations, including processing, packaging, and storage of supplies. This role involves receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and maintaining warehouse systems, with a focus on safety and continuous improvement.

Ansvarsområden

  • Receive correct parts and quantities in time and on time
  • Assist with stock counts – Wall to wall and cycle counts
  • Receiving of inbound purchase orders or transfer orders
  • Put-away/binning of stock
  • Picking of orders
  • Packing of orders
  • Maintain and update warehouse location data in Sandvik systems
  • Report any discrepancies with regard to inventory, safety and other anomalies using LPS system
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects
  • Ensure that all warehouse equipment is working properly and that safety procedures are followed
  • Warehouse administration and housekeeping
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Krav

  • Full Grade 12 certificate
  • ZIPS/CIPS certificate
  • Active member of the Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply
