As a Visual Merchandiser at IKEA Tempe, you will create inspiring and commercially relevant home furnishing solutions to position IKEA as the first choice for home furnishings. You will use your expertise in styling, space planning, and design to enhance the customer experience and strengthen the IKEA brand. This is a full-time, on-site role requiring strong communication, initiative, and practical skills.
Ansvarsområden
- Contribute to positioning the IKEA store as the first choice for home furnishing.
- Create inspiring and commercially relevant home furnishing solutions.
- Use visual merchandising and design expertise to strengthen the IKEA identity through store layout, range presentation, and customer experience.
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver projects from concept to implementation, meeting deadlines and commercial objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the store to bring ideas to life.
- Communicate and present design concepts clearly and engagingly.
- Support a culture of collaboration by sharing knowledge and providing constructive feedback.
- Be active and hands-on throughout the store, ensuring high standards of execution.
Krav
- Experienced in visual merchandising within a retail environment.
- Proven ability to create engaging and commercially relevant customer experiences.
- Skilled in styling, space planning, colour coordination, presentation, and visual storytelling.
- Strong eye for design and aesthetics.
- Knowledgeable in store layouts, customer journeys, and visual merchandising principles.
- Proficient in digital and design tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, Revit, and/or SketchUp.
- Strong communicator who builds effective relationships and collaborates confidently.
- Comfortable taking initiative, influencing others, and driving projects.
- Practical, hands-on, and highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Committed to continuous learning and personal development.
- Passionate about creating inspiring, customer-focused spaces.
- Formally qualified in visual merchandising, interior design, design, or a related field, or able to demonstrate equivalent professional experience.
