Alstom is seeking an AI Engineer (m/f) for a VIE internship in Pittsburgh, PA. This role focuses on ensuring software quality through AI/ML techniques for test automation and developing automated testing frameworks. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and experience with Python are required, with familiarity in transformer architectures and prompt engineering being advantageous.

Ansvarsområden

  • Streamline data extraction, formatting, and manual report generation using VBA and macros.
  • Design interactive, data-driven reports and dashboards using Power BI.
  • Clean, transform, and connect complex datasets using Power Query.
  • Apply AI/ML techniques for test automation, such as generating test cases/scripts using machine learning or natural language processing.
  • Develop automated testing frameworks and write robust automated test scripts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects.
  • Analyze software test results, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and adapt to evolving project requirements.

Krav

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field.
  • Experience with Python development and strong software engineering fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with transformer architectures, attention mechanisms, and model capabilities.
  • Understanding of vector databases and embedding models for semantic search.
  • Knowledge of prompt engineering techniques and in-context learning.
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps and agile software development methodologies (e.g., Scrum).
  • Experience working with multiple operating systems, especially embedded systems (Linux, real-time OS, Windows).
  • Strong communication skills to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Willingness to learn and explore new technologies.
