About the job
In this role, you drive global commercial performance while shaping and executing our strategy. As a member of the Executive Committee, you represent the sales function and contribute to key decisions across the business. You ensure alignment across global teams, subsidiaries, and partners, building a coherent and effective commercial model. You report to the President of Metrologic DCS.

Job responsibilities

  • Define and drive the global commercial strategy across direct and indirect sales channels, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives
  • Lead and develop international sales teams and subsidiaries, uniting them around priorities, performance, and transformation
  • Drive global commercial performance by setting targets, budgets, and KPIs, and continuously monitoring and improving results
  • Build and strengthen relationships with strategic customers, partners, and key Sandvik stakeholders in a global, multicultural environment
  • Actively contribute at Executive Committee level by translating customer insights and market signals into strategic input, influencing product direction and offering development
  • Enable commercial excellence across the organization by shaping sales models, fostering collaboration and learning, and ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards

Location and flexibility

The role is flexible within Europe, with regular visits to our headquarters in Grenoble, France. International travel is a natural part of the job.

Your profile
With a strong technical and commercial foundation, you bring extensive experience from international sales leadership or management in industrial and/or complex B2B software environments. You understand how to turn strategy into action and deliver measurable results in a global context, combining strategic vision with strong operational execution.

As a hands-on Senior Sales Management leader, you have proven experience across multiple channels, such as direct, channel, KAM, and online. A proven track record of driving new business growth and leading the shift from reactive to proactive sales approaches strengthens your ability to build scalable, high-performing organizations.

Your background includes

  • A higher technical degree, ideally in mechanical or industrial engineering
  • Extensive experience leading international sales within a global organization
  • Experience using sales process automation tools, such as Salesforce, HubSpot, AI assistants
  • Fluency in English

You lead with confidence and clarity, bringing people together across cultures and functions. A collaborative mindset, sound judgment, and the ability to navigate complexity make you successful. You’re comfortable influencing at all levels and thrive in dynamic environments where direction, structure, and innovation go hand in hand. Working closely with field teams, you coach, lead by example, and embed a high-performance sales culture.
