Tetra Pak is seeking motivated individuals for its Engineering Internship program in Vernon Hills, Illinois. Interns will gain hands-on experience in Parts Support, developing automation solutions, or Process Engineering, supporting liquid dairy, beverage, and food systems. The program offers professional development, networking, and a competitive hourly wage.

Ansvarsområden

  • Assisting the Parts Support team by developing and implementing automation solutions and supporting faster response times.
  • Streamlining processes in Spare Parts databases.
  • Improving response times for parts support.
  • Performing engineering tasks associated with supporting the PE team with quoting, designing, implementing, supporting and maintaining process systems in the liquid dairy, beverage, and food industry.
  • Supporting Block Diagrams, Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Equipment sizing and selection, quotations, skid design and inspection.
  • Providing customer support and troubleshooting.
  • Execution of startup and commissioning of systems/modules.

Krav

  • Bachelor studies in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Computational Linguistics, Business Analytics, Business Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Food Science.
  • Courting your two (2) last years of university/college.
  • Availability to work Full time during summer.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
  • Some knowledge of Business Objects, SAP, Knime, Salesforce or Power Automate is ideal for the Parts Support role.
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or similar Process solution software is required for the Process Engineer role.
  • Good organizational skills and self-motivated.
