The Utility Engineer is responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all plant utilities and auxiliary facilities supporting heat exchanger production. This role involves hands-on maintenance, energy management, participation in new project introductions, and leading improvement initiatives, requiring a strong background in manufacturing maintenance and relevant certifications.

Ansvarsområden

  • Ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all plant utilities and auxiliary facilities.
  • Drive execution of maintenance and improvement plans in line with company priorities: Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
  • Put safety as the absolute priority in all activities, ensuring full compliance with EHS policies, Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and chemical management (MSDS) regulations.
  • Responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of key plant utilities, including power distribution systems (low voltage), HVAC, high pressure compressed air, RO and cooling water systems, gas systems, factory lighting, building infrastructure, and access gates.
  • Responsible for the maintenance, inspection, and certification of all lifting and transporting equipment, forklifts, and other plant vehicles.
  • Oversee energy consumption measurement, data collection, and analysis, driving continuous improvement projects to reduce energy costs.
  • Maintain and calibrate energy metering equipment.
  • Participate in the introduction of new equipment from a utility interface and facility preparation perspective.
  • Lead or support facility-related improvement and automation (Industry 4.0) initiatives.
  • Plan, assign, and follow up on the daily work of maintenance technicians.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive preventive maintenance plans for all responsible facilities.
  • Manage spare parts inventory for utility systems to minimize downtime.
  • Complete other tasks assigned by the Manager.

Krav

  • Familiar with basic structure and working principles of automatic equipment.
  • Hands-on experience in maintaining and troubleshooting high & low voltage power distribution systems.
  • Practical experience with TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) implementation.
  • Be familiar with office software, skilled CAD.
  • Good command of English in both written and oral communication.
  • Experience with continuous improvement tools (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma).
  • College or bachelor of Mechatronics, Automation Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years working experience in Manufacturing Companies in maintenance positions.
  • Valid Low Voltage Electrician Operation Certificate.
  • Special Equipment Management Certificate with endorsements for A3 (Pressure Vessel), A5 (Lifting Machinery), and A8 (Plant Vehicles) is highly preferred.
