The Unit Facility Management Manager is responsible for the comprehensive management of properties, ensuring safety, compliance, and operational efficiency. This role involves leading a facility management team, optimizing property performance, managing external service providers, and overseeing long-term planning and budgeting.

Ansvarsområden

  • Manage properties throughout their lifecycle, including safety, compliance, maintenance, and improvement.
  • Implement property management innovations, digital and technical solutions.
  • Lead and manage the Ingka Facility Management (FM) execution within the unit through the FM team.
  • Optimize property efficiency in a sustainable way.
  • Ensure co-workers, service providers, and external partners have up-to-date awareness of FM frameworks and guidelines.
  • Oversee long-term planning, budget estimation, execution, follow-up, forecasting, and reporting within the FM scope.
  • Implement and evaluate supplier contracts at unit level to improve efficiencies, costs, equipment, and quality.
  • Manage and coordinate external suppliers at the unit level.
  • Build relationships with Business owners within the unit to meet business needs.
  • Build and develop the team's competence, performance, and ensure a succession plan.

Krav

  • Technical background (mechanics, electricity, etc.)
  • At least 5 years of experience in facility management.
  • Experience in managing and coordinating with external service providers, preferably in a high-volume retail sector.
  • Proven skills in developing people (support, coaching, training, career direction).
  • Very good knowledge of planning, organizing, and managing costs and expenses.
  • Very good understanding of important FM business processes (work order management, contract and supplier management).
  • Strong communicator with the ability to influence decisions.
  • Effective way of working with strong analytical skills and ability to react flexibly to changes.
  • Communicate confidently in German and English (business fluent), both spoken and written.
