Amazon is seeking a Transportation Specialist I for their Network Operation Center (NOC) in Hyderabad, India. This role involves facilitating freight flow, resolving exceptions, and analyzing network data to improve operations. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree, experience with Excel, and basic logistics understanding.

Ansvarsområden

  • Facilitate flow of information between external customers (Carriers, Vendors/Suppliers) and internal customers (Retail, Finance, Software Support, Fulfillment Centers).
  • Resolve issues impacting customer experience and business continuity.
  • Analyze network exceptions and trends to propose process changes and automation.
  • Develop and understand performance metrics to drive business results.
  • Systematically escalate problems or variances to relevant owners and teams, and follow through on resolutions.
  • Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs.
  • Provide real-time customer experience in a fast-paced operating environment.
  • Perform tasks such as track and trace, customer communications, ad hoc booking, cancellation of additional trucks by analyzing volume patterns, and container management.

Krav

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative/technical field such as computer science, engineering, statistics.
  • Experience with Excel.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience with SQL.
  • Ability to pull data from databases using Excel to perform ad hoc reporting and analysis.
  • Ability to quickly understand the business impact of trends and make data-driven decisions.
  • Basic understanding of Logistics.
  • Clear written and oral communication skills.
  • Zeal to drive process improvements to conclusion.
