Amazon is seeking a Transportation Specialist for its Transportation Operation Center (TOC) in Hyderabad, India. This role focuses on managing linehaul operations, resolving transportation exceptions, and improving processes to ensure timely freight movement. The specialist will communicate with internal and external stakeholders and analyze data to drive business results.

Ansvarsområden

  • Communicate with external customers (Carriers, Vendors/Suppliers) and internal customers (Retail, Finance, Software Support, Fulfillment Centers).
  • Pull data from numerous databases (using Excel, Access, SQL and/or other data management systems) and perform ad hoc reporting and analysis.
  • Develop and understand performance metrics to assist with driving business results.
  • Scope out business and functional requirements for Amazon technology teams.
  • Quickly understand the business impact of trends and make data-driven decisions.
  • Systematically escalate problems or variance in information and data to relevant owners and teams, and follow through on resolutions.
  • Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs.
  • Provide real-time customer experience by working in a 24/7 operating environment.
  • Facilitate flow of information between stakeholders and resolve issues impacting customer experience and business continuity.
  • Address potential issues occurring during inbound pick-up to delivery or outbound FC to customer premises lifecycles.

Krav

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative/technical field such as computer science, engineering, statistics.
  • Experience with Excel.
  • Basic understanding of Logistics.
  • Clear written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and notice trends.
  • Ability to research and query internal tools.
  • Ability to make real-time decisions.
  • Zeal to drive process improvements to conclusion.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience in Excel.
  • Ability to pull data from numerous databases (using Excel, Access, SQL and/or other data management systems) and to perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed is a plus.
  • Ability to scope out business and functional requirements for the Amazon technology teams who create and enhance the software systems and tools are used by TOC.
  • Ability to systematically escalate problems or variance in the information and data to the relevant owners and teams and follow through on the resolutions to ensure they are delivered.
