Amazon is seeking a Transportation Specialist for its Transportation Operations Center (TOC) in India. This role involves facilitating information flow, resolving issues in inbound and outbound logistics, and analyzing network data to improve operations. A Bachelor's degree and experience with Excel and SQL are required.

Ansvarsområden

Facilitate flow of information between external customers (Carriers, Vendors/Suppliers) and internal customers (Retail, Finance, Software Support, Fulfillment Centers).
Pull data from numerous databases (using Excel, Access, SQL and/or other data management systems) and perform ad hoc reporting and analysis.
Develop and/or understand performance metrics to assist with driving business results.
Scope out business and functional requirements for Amazon technology teams who create and enhance the software systems and tools used by TOC.
Quickly understand the business impact of trends and make data-driven decisions.
Systematically escalate problems or variance in information and data to the relevant owners and teams and follow through on resolutions.
Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs, while measuring and identifying activities performed.
Communicate effectively, both verbally and written, including creating narratives outlining weekly findings and variances to goals, and presenting them in a review forum.

Krav

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative/technical field such as computer science, engineering, or statistics.
Experience with Excel.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Experience with SQL.
