I korthet

The Transportation Representative will be part of the Network Operation Center (NOC), a critical hub for Amazon's Transportation Execution. This role involves facilitating information flow, resolving transportation exceptions, and analyzing network data to improve processes. It requires strong communication skills, proficiency in Excel, and a basic understanding of logistics.

Ansvarsområden

  • Facilitate flow of information between external customers (Carriers, Vendors/Suppliers) and internal customers (Retail, Finance, Software Support, Fulfillment Centers).
  • Systematically escalate problems or variance in information and data to relevant owners and teams, and follow through on resolutions.
  • Create a narrative outlining weekly findings and variances to goals, and present these findings in a review forum.
  • Provide real-time customer experience by working in a 24*7 operating environment.
  • Ideate process improvements and drive them to conclusion.
  • Address potential issues occurring during the lifecycle of freight pick-up to delivery (Inbound) or from FC to customer premises (Outbound).
  • Provide timely resolution to issues by researching and querying internal tools and by taking real-time decisions.

Krav

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 12-24 months of work experience
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, vlookups)
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team in a very dynamic environment
  • Basic understanding of Logistics
