Amazon is looking for a Transportation Representative to join their Transportation Operation Center (TOC) in India. This role involves managing freight movement, resolving exceptions, and analyzing data to improve processes. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, basic logistics knowledge, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Ansvarsområden

  • Facilitate flow of information between stakeholders (Trans Carriers/Hubs/Warehouses).
  • Resolve issues impacting customer experience and business continuity.
  • Address potential issues during the pickup-to-delivery lifecycle (Inbound) or from FC to customer premises (Outbound).
  • Research and query internal tools to provide timely issue resolution.
  • Communicate with external customers (Carriers, Vendors/Suppliers) and internal customers (Retail, Finance, Software Support, Fulfillment Centers).
  • Pull data from numerous databases (Excel, Access, SQL) and perform ad hoc reporting and analysis.
  • Develop and understand performance metrics to drive business results.
  • Scope out business and functional requirements for Amazon technology teams.
  • Understand business impact of trends and make data-driven decisions.
  • Systematically escalate problems and follow through on resolutions.
  • Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs.
  • Create a narrative outlining weekly findings and variances, and present them in a review forum.

Krav

  • English-language communication skills, both written and verbal.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Knowledge of Excel skills to refine data and prepare business reports.
  • Ability to pull data from numerous databases (using Excel, Access, SQL and/or other data management systems) and to perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of Logistics.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in written and oral form.
  • Zeal to drive process improvements to conclusion.
