The Track Manager - Microsoft Azure - IaaS, Azure Kubernetes Service role involves supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting cloud-based platform solutions to ensure high availability, security, and performance. Responsibilities include operational support, troubleshooting complex technical problems, monitoring, incident management, and ensuring platform security and compliance. This role requires proficiency in cloud platforms like Azure and technical skills in scripting, containerization, IaC tools, and databases.

Ansvarsområden

  • Provide 24x7 (or shift-based) support for production PaaS environments.
  • Analyze and resolve complex technical problems related to cloud services, application deployment, and integrations.
  • Monitor PaaS platforms (using tools like Splunk, Datadog) to identify issues, analyze metrics, and optimize performance.
  • Manage high-priority incidents, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and implement preventative measures.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) to deploy application updates.
  • Ensure platform security, including IAM, encryption, patching, and compliance with standards (e.g., ISO, HIPAA).
  • Create and maintain documentation, knowledge base articles, and technical procedures.

Krav

  • 3-10+ years of hands-on experience in cloud support (IaaS/PaaS) or DevOps.
  • Proficiency in one or more major cloud providers: AWS (Beanstalk, RDS), Azure (Web Apps, SQL), or Oracle Cloud (OIC, VBCS).
  • Strong knowledge of Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/AKS).
  • Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases (Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, Cosmos DB).
