Track Lead (Support & Operations) with 6+ years of experience in SQL Database Administration, expertise in PowerShell scripting, and managing global SQL Server installations. Responsibilities include script-based installations, configuration, migration, implementing new technologies, and backup/restoration strategies.

Ansvarsområden

Script, automation-based Installation, configuration and migration of SQL server (2012, 2016, 2019 & 2022 onwards)
Implementing new technologies and design changes whenever required at the enterprise level
Implementing Backup/Restoration Strategy
Testing & Applying patches/upgrades to maintain security level
Good understanding of MS SQL Architecture, File groups, Partitioning, Schemas, Snapshots, Memory, Latest SQL Server versions and their features etc.
SQL Server Database Basic Administration and exposure on Latest Features.
Excellent understanding of Transact SQL, PowerShell and any other scripting language
Troubleshoot issues related to enterprise-wide issues
Liaising with vendor (Microsoft) for addressing enterprise level critical and compliance related issues
Excellent knowledge of Index Management & Statistics housekeeping etc.
Good exposure on SSIS, SSRS Knowledge and troubleshooting Issues related to HA (Log shipping, Mirroring, AlwaysOn etc.)
Designing and Scheduling Database Backups, taking Full and Transaction Log Backups as per the RTO and RPO of the applications
Implementing SQL Server Database Security Policy
Experience with Database Migration, Installation, Upgrades and Patching

Krav

Minimum 6+ Yrs experience in SQL Database Administration
Worked in an Engineering role for bigger organizations
Expert at writing PowerShell scripts for managing the SQL Server environment
Good understanding of MS SQL Architecture, File groups, Partitioning, Schemas, Snapshots, Memory, Latest SQL Server versions and their features etc.
SQL Server Database Basic Administration and exposure on Latest Features.
Excellent understanding of Transact SQL, PowerShell and any other scripting language
Candidates having industry exposure to financial/Banking clients are preferred
Working Knowledge of Cluster
Experience in Performance tuning (Query and Instance level)
Good in English communication
Good in ITSM Process (Incidents, Change & Problem)
