I korthet

We are looking for a Network Engineer specializing in Enterprise DNAC/LAN to act as an L3 escalation point for critical LAN incidents. This role involves advanced troubleshooting, support for large-scale Cisco and Aruba switching environments, and expertise in Cisco Catalyst Center (DNAC) for device onboarding, assurance, and image management. The position also requires leading Root Cause Analysis (RCA), managing upgrades, capacity planning, and implementing security measures, with a focus on automation using Python and Ansible.

Ansvarsområden

  • Act as L3 escalation point for critical LAN incidents.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting across campus networks.
  • Support large-scale Cisco and Aruba switching environments.
  • Troubleshoot complex routing and switching issues.
  • Manage device onboarding and provisioning in Cisco Catalyst Center (DNAC).
  • Oversee Assurance Management, Software Image Management (SWIM), and template deployment in DNAC.
  • Provide SDA operational support.
  • Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and identify recurring infrastructure issues.
  • Implement permanent corrective actions for infrastructure problems.
  • Maintain technical knowledge articles.
  • Manage IOS-XE upgrades and switch refresh initiatives.
  • Plan software lifecycles, including validation and rollback testing.
  • Conduct capacity forecasting, utilization analysis, and performance optimization.
  • Support infrastructure modernization efforts.
  • Engage in vulnerability remediation and security advisory reviews.
  • Perform configuration compliance audits and network segmentation support.
  • Develop Python scripts and Ansible automation for network tasks.
  • Integrate with DNAC APIs.

Krav

  • 7-10 years of LAN Engineering experience.
  • 3+ years supporting Cisco DNAC.
  • Experience handling major incidents.
  • Expertise in Cisco Catalyst Center (DNAC).
  • Proficiency in Cisco Catalyst 9K, Cisco Nexus, and Aruba CX.
  • Knowledge of HPE Comware and SDA (Software Defined Access).
  • Familiarity with OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, STP, QoS, and Cisco ISE.
  • Experience with Python scripting and Ansible automation.
  • Ability to integrate with DNAC APIs.
