The DevOps Linux Engineer will bridge business units and infrastructure teams, specializing in network and security automation for Linux, NGINX, and Ansible. This role involves analyzing requests, managing the engineering backlog in Azure DevOps, and driving incident resolution within an Agile framework.

Ansvarsområden

  • Analyze business requests and translate them into technical tasks.
  • Manage the engineering backlog in Azure DevOps, prioritizing work items.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, etc.) and provide technical updates.
  • Manage the lifecycle of hardware, virtual assets, and operating systems (Ubuntu).
  • Handle incident and problem management for squad assets.
  • Develop Ansible playbooks and Python/Perl scripts for automation.
  • Manage SSL/TLS certificates.
  • Stay updated with emerging network and security technologies.

Krav

  • Deep administrative knowledge of Ubuntu and enterprise Linux distributions.
  • Hands-on experience working within Azure DevOps environments.
  • Strong proficiency with Git workflow and code repository management.
  • Advanced expertise in deploying, configuring, and optimizing NGINX as a reverse proxy and load balancer.
  • Strong knowledge of F5 BIG-IP systems (LTM and ASM).
  • Robust understanding of network security principles, including Symantec security solutions.
  • Solid grounding in SSL/TLS protocols and certificate management.
  • Proven experience writing and maintaining Ansible playbooks.
  • Proficiency in Python for monitoring and automation tasks.
  • Knowledge of Perl is a strong asset.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Familiarity with SQL queries for asset tracking and verification is a Nice to Have.
