Ansvarsområden
- Repair metal stamping dies including sharpening, cleaning, and refurbishing.
- Repair and maintain tube mill cut off dies.
- Work with press/mill operators to resolve part quality issues.
- Support maintenance with machining needs and projects.
- Machine die components and other plant-needed parts using mills, lathes, grinders, and CNC equipment.
- Set up and tear down roll form tooling.
- Clean and polish roll form tooling.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Krav
- High School Diploma
- Tech School or Formal Apprenticeship/Journeyman
- 5 or more years of experience making or maintaining metal stamping dies
- Experience with roll form tooling and processes
- Ability to troubleshoot tooling issues in press or on roll forming mills
- 5 or more years of manual machining experience (knee mills, toolroom lathes, bandsaws, surface grinders)
- Experience running and programming CNC lathes and mills using conversational programming
- Ability to program a wire EDM machine with MasterCam
- Experience welding tool steel and other ferrous metals
