Tetra Pak Processing Equipment is hiring a 1st shift Welder in Winsted, MN to fabricate stainless-steel equipment for the food industry. This role requires operational knowledge of welding and metal shop equipment, adherence to quality standards, and participation in continuous improvement activities.

Ansvarsområden

  • Engage in welding and fabrication of stainless-steel equipment for various customers.
  • Ensure day-to-day production is safe, efficient, and meets planning for on-time delivery.
  • Operate manufacturing and welding equipment for stainless-steel materials (Sheet and Pipe) using TIG and MIG.
  • Operate general metal shop equipment and tools.
  • Perform process checks in accordance with quality requirements.
  • Participate in daily improvement activities and multi-skill training.
  • Engage in the team’s WCM (World Class Manufacturing)/5'S activities.

Krav

  • Technical School Diploma or equivalent in welding/fabrication.
  • Previous experience in mechanical related industries.
  • Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings, recognize welding symbols and drawing specifications.
  • Ability to perform physical work including repetitive motions, standing, kneeling, bending over for long periods.
  • Ability to lift at least 50-70 pounds.
  • Ability to drive a forklift and use lifting devices.
  • Basic computer skills.

  • Annual Base Salary Range: $49,100.00 – $66,200.00
