Ansvarsområden

Review relevant research, technologies, and product requirements
Develop and assess product concepts for truck components
Compare material properties, sustainability, and technical maturity
Evaluate manufacturing processes and production feasibility
Test and evaluate the properties and performance of surface treatments for selected material systems
Plan or carry out material, component or manufacturing tests and evaluate performance
Assess customer value, product benefits, business potential, and implementation opportunities
Collaborate with students working on related thesis topics
Present results and recommendations for further development

Krav

Master’s student in product development, industrial design, mechanical engineering, materials engineering, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering and management, or a related field
Strong interest in product development, materials, coatings, manufacturing, testing, business or customer value
Good collaboration skills

Ability to define a focused research question and project scope
Work may include concept development, product design, simulation, technical evaluation, testing, manufacturing considerations, environmental aspects, or an assessment of business and customer value
