Volvo Penta is seeking 1-2 Master's students for a thesis on creating a user-friendly technical platform for automation in recreational boating. The project involves researching use cases, designing intuitive interfaces, and evaluating solutions with boat owners.

Ansvarsområden

Prototype a UX/UI solution for managing automation on recreational boats.
Evaluate the UX/UI solution with actual boat owners.
Identify key use cases and design intuitive automation rule creation.
Explore how to enable ordinary boat owners to configure and manage automation.
Work with telematics platforms and onboard connectivity solutions.

Krav

Master's level studies in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, Cognitive Science, User Experience Design, Service Design, Industrial Design, or Digital Media.
Skills in user research, prototyping, user testing, journey mapping, behavioral analysis, interface design, Figma, and design thinking.
Ability to conduct research and develop prototypes.
Excellent Swedish or English language skills.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Relevant programs: Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, Cognitive Science, User Experience Design, Service Design, Industrial Design, Digital Media.
Understanding of interaction design and cognitive science principles.
