Emerson is seeking a skilled Testing Engineer to join their team in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. This hybrid role involves ensuring system conformity and compliance with technical documentation and client specifications by manually testing analytical measurement systems, performing visual and technical verification, and setting up systems for functional testing.
Ansvarsområden
- Review customer technical specifications and standards for system compliance.
- Draft testing protocols and perform manual functional, visual, and technical (mechanical & electrical) testing.
- Set up system components (valves, flow meters, heaters) according to P&ID, E&I drawing parameters.
- Verify analyzer test reports, check signals and communication, configure analyzers, and test measurements.
- Assist the service department with life cycle activities.
- Work within project budget and schedule constraints.
- Verify component ratings and labeling against project documentation.
- Manage activities from end of manufacturing to shipment, including testing and punch list management.
Krav
- Engineering Degree (Chemistry, Process Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering or similar).
- Two years of previous work experience as a testing engineer or equivalent in service.
- Sound technical understanding of process engineering and instrumentation.
- Knowledge of applications in petrochemical, refining, LNG industries, or equivalent.
- Ability to read engineering drawings (P&ID, GAD, E&I Diagrams, BOMs).
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office Products.
- Willingness to travel internationally (5-15% of the time).
- Driver's license.
- English language skills (verbal and written).
Önskade kvalifikationer
- IOSH/NEBOSH Qualification is desirable but not essential.
- Familiarity with switchgear, control stations, and junction box configurations.
- Familiarity with ERP systems; Oracle experience is an advantage.
- Good communication skills.
