I korthet

Alstom is seeking a full-time Testing & Commissioning Engineer in Bucharest to prepare and execute test activities for railway signalling systems, manage defect identification and correction, and lead a team of T&C technicians. The role requires flexibility for travel and a degree in engineering or equivalent experience.

Ansvarsområden

  • Prepare and execute testing activities for railway signalling systems according to procedures.
  • Identify and correct defects, and report design-related issues.
  • Ensure follow-up of detected issues and deliver commissioning reports.
  • Check that test tools are in working order and calibrated.
  • Support V&V team and perform tests in lab as requested.
  • Deliver committed performance in terms of Quality, Costs, and Deadlines, complying with policies and regulations (EHS, Railway Safety).
  • Manage EHS & Environment responsibilities.
  • Manage, as a team leader, the T&C technicians team.

Krav

  • Degree in engineering (preferably electronics or embedded systems) or equivalent experience.
  • Mandatory Romanian language (read, written, spoken).
  • Good knowledge of English language (read, written, spoken).
  • Flexibility and mobility for missions in different locations and countries.
  • Availability to work at night, during weekends, and on public holidays.
  • Resilience and an analytic way of thinking to solve complex system failures.
  • Customer satisfaction and results orientation.
  • Ability to communicate in an open and clear manner with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to use new technologies and tools.
  • Driving license.
