Emerson's Test & Measurement (T&M) business unit is seeking a Test Engineering Intern to assist with the design of automated test systems. Responsibilities include designing PCBs, developing test code, qualifying instruments, and analyzing production test data. This hybrid role requires pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.

Ansvarsområden

  • Designing or revising custom printed circuit boards to be used in a test fixture
  • Developing production test code for the next generation of NI products
  • Qualifying instruments for use in a Test application to be deployed to Manufacturing
  • Analyzing production test data to look for trends which indicate the health of the product and/or test solution

Krav

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • High-level programming languages (e.g. LabVIEW, TestStand, Python)
  • Analog signal considerations
  • Sources of measurement error
  • Appropriate selection of instrumentation
  • Statistical analysis of data
  • Integration of hardware and software
  • Hands-on experience with electronic hardware
  • Experience with high frequency circuit design, RF and wireless communication is highly desirable
