Nordea is seeking a Test Driven Development Expert to join the Retail Software Development team in Warszawa. This role involves applying quality engineering practices, developing Java-based microservices, and working across the full software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate has expert knowledge of QA processes, testing frameworks, object-oriented programming (Java & Python), and API testing.

Ansvarsområden

  • Apply quality engineering practices in daily work, including RESTful API testing, test case design and execution, and test automation using Python and Java.
  • Support design, develop and maintenance of Java-based microservices supporting credit risk, recommendations solutions, integrating with APIs, databases and external systems.
  • Build and evolve robust, scalable solutions, including calculation engines, ensuring compliance with credit regulations across multiple countries.
  • Work across the full software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to deployment, operations and support, taking ownership of delivered solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with business experts and engineering teams, acting as a technical sparring partner, contributing to solution design, and ensuring maintainability and continuous improvement of the codebase.

Krav

  • Expert knowledge of QA processes (both manual and automated)
  • Expert knowledge of testing frameworks (JUnit, Cucumber, qtestMenager)
  • Very good knowledge of Object – oriented programing (Java & Python)
  • Experience with rest/soap API testing
  • Knowledge of CI/CD and developers tools (Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket)
