IKEA Hammersmith is hiring temporary Store Assistants to provide outstanding customer experiences and ensure product availability. This part-time, on-site role involves working across various departments to support customers and maintain the store environment. The position starts August 22, 2026, and ends October 17, 2026.

Ansvarsområden

  • Provide an inspirational shopping experience for customers across various departments.
  • Support customers in finding the right solutions for their homes.
  • Maximize sales by ensuring areas are clean, fully stocked, well-presented, and easy to shop.
  • Replenish and maintain the Market Hall to keep it customer-ready.
  • Work with ladders and at height, following safety procedures.
  • Assess situations and implement solutions in a fast-paced setting to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Embrace a multi-skilled role, ensuring product availability and an inviting shopping environment.

Krav

  • Positive approach and enthusiasm for teamwork.
  • Ability to work without supervision.
  • Customer-first mindset and enjoyment of working in different areas.
  • Computer literate and able to work with technology.
  • Prioritization and organization skills with great attention to detail.
  • Comfortable handling changing demands and re-prioritizing tasks.
  • Ability to handle some products that may involve heavy lifting.
  • Willingness to work shifts including day shifts, evening shifts, and 3 in 4 weekends.
