IKEA is seeking a Temporary Retail Associate for a full-time position in Chantilly, Virginia. This role involves assisting customers, maintaining store standards, processing sales, and potentially preparing food items. A background check and drug test are required.

Ansvarsområden

  • Actively approach customers needing help, identify needs, and advise on solutions.
  • Keep assigned areas clean, tidy, priced, and fully stocked, adhering to merchandising standards.
  • Convey passion for IKEA products, learning and sharing features and benefits with customers.
  • Build furniture for various store initiatives (In Shape As New, new products, remodels).
  • Prepare, produce, and serve IKEA Food menu items following food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Receive inbound goods and ensure inventory accuracy at the point of receiving.
  • Flow product to the final selling location.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide customers with a simple and efficient Full Serve Hand Out experience.
  • Provide customers with a simple and smooth returns and exchange experience.

Krav

  • 1 year of retail experience, preferably in the home furnishing sector.
  • Experience in actively selling through understanding customers and their needs.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience in the home furnishing sector is preferred.

Förmåner

  • Full Time, 34-40 hours per week.
  • Fully open availability required 8 AM - 9 PM Monday - Sunday.
  • $21.48 - $30.34 / hr depending on equivalent experience.
