Atlas Copco is looking for a Technician_Workshop in Busan, South Korea, to assemble turbo and screw compressor major units, ensuring quality and timeliness. Ansvarsområden

  • Assemble turbo and screw compressor major (core) units according to drawings and processes.
  • Prepare components for completeness and quality.
  • Prepare the assembly location, ensuring alignment and cleanliness.
  • Understand and implement procedures for packaging and assembly of core and main components.
  • Perform coupling alignment between core unit and driver using laser alignment equipment.
  • Install compressor packages on the test bed and connect necessary hoses and wires.
  • Use and manage equipment correctly, ensuring safety and performing regular maintenance.
  • Implement 5S for managing tools, work benches, and working areas.
  • Report quality deviations verbally and provide a punch list of non-conformities.
  • Support corrective actions for non-quality issues.
  • Handle parts/materials using a crane or forklift.
  • Comply with discipline and safety rules.

Krav

  • High school graduate.
  • Understanding of English drawings/diagrams, procedures, and instructions.
  • More than 3 years of experience in assembly/test/commissioning of rotating equipment (compressors, diesel engines, pumps, or gear boxes) or similar machinery.
  • Familiarity with quality inspection tasks (dimensional measurements, alignment, run-out measurements) and documentation.
  • Good communication skills and teamwork spirit.
  • Fluency in Korean language.
  • Willingness to occasionally work late shifts.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and abroad for training (average <10% of working time).
