Atlas Copco Korea is seeking a Workshop Technician in Busan to assemble and test compressor major units according to drawings and procedures. Ansvarsområden

  • Assemble turbo and screw compressor major (core) units.
  • Prepare and verify components for completeness and quality.
  • Prepare the assembly location, including alignment and cleanliness.
  • Understand and implement procedures for packaging and assembly of core components.
  • Perform coupling alignment between core unit and driver using laser alignment equipment.
  • Install compressor packages on test beds and connect necessary utilities.
  • Manage equipment correctly, ensure safety, and perform regular maintenance.
  • Implement 5S for management of tools, work benches, and working areas.
  • Report quality deviations and provide punch lists to relevant departments.
  • Handle parts and materials, including operation of cranes or forklifts.
  • Comply with discipline and safety rules.

Krav

  • High school graduate.
  • Understanding of drawings, diagrams, procedures, and instructions in English.
  • Over 3 years of experience in assembly/test/commissioning of rotating equipment (compressors, diesel engines, pumps, or gear boxes) or similar machinery.
  • Familiarity with quality inspection tasks (dimensional measurements, alignment, run-out measurements) and their documentation.
  • Good communication skills and teamwork spirit.
  • Fluency in Korean language.
  • Willingness to occasionally work late shifts.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and abroad for training (<10% of working time).

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Certification for forklift and overhead crane operations.
