As an Automation Software Engineer in Darmstadt, Germany, you will develop hardware-related software using CODESYS V3 and Siemens Step7, integrate modules in C++, and perform automated testing. Ansvarsområden

  • Develop hardware-related software using CODESYS V3 and Siemens Step7.
  • Integrate modules into system architecture and contribute to platform development in C++.
  • Design and implement software following best practices (e.g., SOLID).
  • Perform automated and manual testing to ensure quality.
  • Collaborate in an agile team (code reviews, pair programming).
  • Support customers during international product launches.

Krav

  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Solid experience in software development, particularly with system-level programming languages.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and assume responsibility.
  • An entrepreneurial and agile mindset in your way of driving the development.
  • Innovative, following technology trends, in close cooperation with the customer.
  • Very good in English and German, speaking and writing.
  • Team player with good communication skills with different stakeholders, at all levels of hierarchy.
  • Willingness to travel (max 15%) and the ability to present new ideas in a convincing manner.

  • Familiarity with industrial production technologies and relevant industry standards is preferred.
