Emerson is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. This hybrid, full-time role involves providing high-quality quotation and technical support to European locations, acting as a technical and commercial advisor, and configuring products. The ideal candidate has an engineering degree, B2 English proficiency, and experience in a commercial/technical environment.

Ansvarsområden

  • Act as the customer's primary technical and commercial advisor.
  • Prequalify opportunities by engaging customers directly.
  • Liaise with sales teams, factories, and other departments to understand technical requirements.
  • Size and configure products according to technical and commercial requirements.
  • Submit accurate proposals to customers on time.
  • Proactively follow up on submitted quotations.
  • Verify Purchase Orders (POs) to confirm alignment with proposals.

Krav

  • University degree in an engineering field.
  • Experience in a similar role or in a commercial/technical environment (such as technical support, quotations, or technical sales).
  • English language proficiency at a minimum of B2 level (written and spoken).

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience working in an international or matrix organization.
  • Knowledge of any additional European language.
  • Exposure to technical product selection or configuration.
  • Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM or quotation tools.
